On August 18th and 19th, 2016 associates from AlignOrg Solutions facilitated a learning event focused on helping alignment leaders and change partners learn the principles, approaches and insights needed to successful lead organization transformations. The highly interactive session, hosted by Novus International, involved leaders and change partners from more than 17 different companies including USAA, Medtronics, Lubrizol, Owens Corning, State Farm, and Boeing.

The theme and focus for this year’s conference was large scale organizational transformations.  Several companies presented case studies on current transformations within their organizations and solicited feedback from the participants on recommendations to further enhance their transformation outcomes.

A pre-conference survey was conducted and several key trends were identified and discussed throughout the conference. The key trends included:

• Moving to Agile environment
• Impact of Technology and Data
• Moving to a Digital environment
• Ability to build agile, flexible organizations that can change with the environment
• Design thinking: Crafting the employee experience
