WEBINAR: ODxT: AI Transformation Is Organization Design Work: Are We in the Room?

[gap]

Join us as we present ODF’s next exploratory ODxT

Is AI becoming a major trigger for transformation? How does that change how organization design work gets done, and how must our practice evolve?

Historically, organization design has been driven by business imperatives: growth, mergers and acquisitions, strategic shifts, and the need for improved performance.
Technology typically played an enabling role, supporting the execution of business strategy. 80% of CEOs now say technology has become strategy (Gartner) . With the
speed of AI adoption and the growing breadth and depth of its organizational implications, what does this mean for how Org Design practitioners access, deliver, and perform the work?

In this interactive, practitioner-focused session, led by Sharon Moura, Principal & Client Executive at AlignOrg Solutions, we will explore three emerging shifts:

  • How we access the work: Changing transformation triggers, executive sponsors, and opportunities for OD professionals to influence technology-led initiatives.
  • How we deliver the work: Implications for our design methodologies, including how we diagnose organizations, redesign work, evaluate alternatives, and support implementation.
  • How we perform the work: Opportunities to use AI and other technologies to enhance our own OD capabilities, effectiveness, and impact.

Drawing on practical experience and the perspectives of participants, this session will challenge assumptions, surface emerging practices, and explore what OD professionals may need to do differently to shape and influence transformation in an increasingly technology-driven world.
